Follow us on Twitter: http://twitter.com/tichborneparkccTichborne Park Cricket Club lies just outside the market town of New Alresford, within the grounds of the historic Tichborne Park Estate. The ground is one of the most picturesque in Hampshire, and is a favourite with touring teams.
After a successful 2012 season where two of our three Saturday sides were promoted, for next season are sides competitions are as follows: the First XI will play in Southern Electric Premier League Division 2, the Second XI shall play in Hampshire League Regional Division 1 North, and the Third XI will continue to provide a stepping stone into adult cricket for the colts in play in Regional Division 4 North East. We also play in the Winchester & District Evening League and Cups, and are the current Tichborne Trophy champions for the second time in three years. We have Sunday friendly matches throughout the season for those who enjoy the less hectic pace. During the winter we have indoor teams competing in leagues at Winchester.
Our colts section is thriving, with junior teams playing weekly in the Winchester and District leagues. The under 9's, 11's and 13's play on Sundays, whilst the under 15's participate in an evening league on Fridays. During the winter we run age group sides in indoor leagues in Winchester. For more details on junior cricket please contact
Pete Spain, our new Colts Coordinator.
NEW for 2013, we are forming a Ladies XI. Training is on a Friday evening at Tichborne Park from 6pm - all welcome. Matches will be on Sundays and any females aged 14 or over are eligible. Ladies players can also be considered for Saturday league action in the 2nd/3rd XI if appropriate. If interested please contact
Bruce Prevett, the Ladies Head Coach.
The Club has recently retained the ClubMark accreditation.
